Getting Dirt on the Team Sparkle Traveling Skirt

In case you missed it, I wore a pink sparkly skirt at Tough Mudder this past weekend.
Still sparkling, even after 9+ miles and 20-whatever
obstacles, most involving dirt and a fire hose.
It was a Team Sparkle Traveling Skirt, and it was awesome. I was most impressive with how lightweight the skirt was AND how well it sparkled, despite the dirt. Who knew? The Girls at Team Sparkle did, that's who.
I first learned about Team Sparkle and the two traveling skirts this summer, and I knew that I had to get in on the action. Like the awesome jeans in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, the skirts travel around the country, in this case from race to race, passing good mojo to whoever happens to be sporting them. The hot pink skirt unexpectedly arrived a month before Tough Mudder, at a particularly low point of my Army 10-Miler training cycle. It was the perfect pick-me-up!

Alas, it being a traveling skirt, after having my day in the mud, it was time to send the skirt off and pass along its mojo. So long, Traveling Skirt! I'll see you on a race course!
Laundered and ready to go!
Check out where the Team Sparkle Traveling Skirts have been, and get in on the action!
