In case you were wondering about the fate of my wrought iron scroll design CD rack, it turns out that I can't even give away the thing for free. After I posted it in the "for free" section of Craigslist, not one, but two people flaked out on me, after emailing me their undying interest in the item. And after the two people expressed interest in it, I deleted the post, thinking that at least one of them would come through, right?
The first person emailed that she wouldn't be able to pick it up, so I then contacted the second person. She bailed on the first time/date we set, emailing me half an hour after she was supposed to meet me. We rescheduled, and she just plain old flaked out. So, there's a wrought iron scroll design CD rack sitting around in an apartment in D.C.
