Anyone brave enough to possibly switch up his or her pre-run routine?
As one who does not stretch before running, this USATF study that is currently seeking volunteers frightens me immensely. Participants are randomly selected to stretch or not to stretch prior to running for 3 months and then must keep a log of their injuries. I'd participate, but I tend to run in the mornings before my muscles even know what's going on, and I'm already pretty convinced that I'll actually injure myself if I stretch before running. Plus, I've got that kind of luck that would cause me to be randomly assigned to the stretch group.
